Note that the global effects - reverb and compressor - are not routed to the outputs 3 and 4. Of course it depends on what are you playing - if you know it and want a dry sound, it's OK, but otherwise I'd advise you to use the first two outputs and experiment with these effects. I usually use a bit of both for everything, even for just piano - makes the sound more consistent at different level of dynamics.

Phase cancellation is definitely real.

As RedLeo said, it is a problem which may not often raise its head.

But when it does it can be worse than ugly, it can be fugly.

I just bought a Nord Stage Piano and getting a very weak signal from my outputs. Any thoughts?

Hi CPerlow,

Did you buy a Nord Stage or a Nord Piano? Those are two different things. It will be best if you create a new post in the appropriate section of the forum identifying which of these two different models you have, rather than tacking your question onto the backside of a thread which may or may not be related to your issue/instrument.
