I just started using the site (great work!!) to update my entries and finding that I can't delete audio files in edit mode. I also noticed that if I listen to a mp3 while in edit mode, that all my edits are deleted. The latter I can fix (stop doing that!), the former I'd appreciate some guidance on. Thanks!

I've added a new icon for sounds with multiple MP3s.

Ill have a think about this and PM you when I have a fix for this...

There is a delete after you have uploaded as you can see on the right side...

Do you mean from the ' files to upload' box before you press the save button ?
If you dragged/selected a file by mistake, probably easiest to refresh the page and start again.
I can add a little clear files button next to the grey box perhaps, if you think its worth it?

Thanks spookycookie, the edits I am trying to make are to some records that were created before I registered and I have been editing them to fill in the details. Referencing your picture above of the MP3 boxes, I click the delete button on the lower right, receive a confirmation pop-up and select Continue, and nothing happens. I've tried it multiple ways including hitting "Save" after confirming I want the mp3 deleted.
I have also found some duplicate records (and created one myself) that I would like to delete. Can an overall "Delete Record" be created?

One other note - it looks much better having the single icon reflecting that there are multiple mp3s however when going through multiple records to quickly hear samples, it would be nice to not have to expand the record to hear anything. One thought would be to allow the owner to select the MP3 the owner wants available on the record line with a small icon next to it indicating there are more, or better yet, select the order the owner wants the mp3 played and have the first available on the record line. If you are familiar with Craigslist, it's like allowing the owner to choose what picture the owner wants shown first.
Regarding the current multiple mp3 icon, I found that clicking on it won't expand the entry like clicking anywhere else around it. If it's a simple fix, good, otherwise folks will figure it out.

I've being playing around with the new sound editor, now compatible with nsmp v2 files.
This is quite fun and easy to use, therefore I produced lots of Nord sounds using multi-samples WAV I had.

Thinking of posting some in the NUF, I went back to the NSF and was happy to find interesting updates. Again very useful, thanks for the hard work.

One came to my mind as we all know we can't convert nsmp3 to nsmp (only the other way around).
Therefore, as there are more and more nsmp3 here and there, I wonder if it would make sense to separate the "sample" category into "sample v2" and "sample v2&v3".
Always frustrating to listen to a sample, select it to download and find it's an nsmp3.

Then came the thought on the "song mode", but I came to the conclusion that this is OK as filtering Song+Stage3 will mainly provide item with ns3f+nsmp3 (and not nsmp, therefore not missing nsmp bundled with ns3f for v2 users).

Is the NUS site under maintainance at the moment? I can go to the site, but I can't seem to login - nothing happens at the login prompt. Thanks.

Tested further: Login works in Microsoft Edge, but not in Firefox. In Firefox, I enter my credentials, the green bar gets about 5% filled, then immediately hops back to login screen. I disabled "Enhanced tracking protection" (since I've experienced login problems with this before), but to no avail.

And one question for usage: I would like to update some of my sounds. I can add updated sounds and previews, but it seems I can't remove the old files from the collection - clicking "Delete" simply does not do anything. Any ideas?

As there seems to have being some changes with loading the sounds when entering the site, would it be possible to have a "please waiting while loading sounds" page/prompt after login ?

Hello, has any progress been made to allow the owner to be able to delete a file or even delete the complete record? Thanks!

I finally decided to do it !
I've backed up my complete NS2 as well as making bundle files of important programs and I did erase all my samples and programs !

It is now time to load 380 Mo of sounds from the forum and create some MP3.
Started with the Omnisphere sounds and discovered many great useful nsmp to play with !

Strange to have a Stage with nothing inside

Please check the Omnisphere license. I believe that you are not granted the right to resample it.
