Hmmm. Moog is nice. But you have to love that specific sound.
You mentioned the Prophet 8. Ehrm. Try it. It has nice features. If you like them, you will love it.
Virus ist also nice, but... You have to go through menus through menus through menus. Very annoying...
Prophet 8 (and NL3) - one knob for each function. You will see what you want.

(Personal Opinion: I like Prophet 12 and 6 more than 8. But this is a matter of personal taste.)

... i had a p12 module... but sold out.

Leak of knob and sound more digital (for me)... but p08 i love, but only 8 note vs 24 note nl3 with true unison without reduce polifony....
for me is intriguing.
