Well, historically the guitar players I know are not familiar with that technology. Usually plays out like this. unplug.....braaaaapppppppp. :o oh s***. :shock:

+1 to turning everything off (amplifiers first) and then unplugging.

Not only the keyboards, I do it with all electrical appliances.
Not just in case of lightning, but also because I dont really like the idea of something connected (and consuming power, buzzing and building up heat) when I'm not using it, and surely when I'm not at home...

(ok, I know everybody does this all the time with the fridge, but that's my only exception, and only because there's no choice)
