What I do to get a bit of an emulation of a BC hammond, or Santana's Road organ is have the bass split as 83800000 and put the Synth on with a sine wave and crank the bass up on it (bass split only). It's very subtle, but gives you the impression the bottom drawbar goes all the way down, rather than folding back. If you whack it through some big speakers, it sounds pretty damn impressive.
I had a couple of hammonds and I was disgruntled how the 16' drawbar folded back. I gather there are tonewheels for it to go all the way down and you can rewire them, but it was all beyond me. Tom Coster's road organ had this mod and the older tonewheels (BC, D, A) had the fat bass notes. I had a BC once and the action was totally different (in a bad way) to the later hammonds.
Anyway.....

Most of its non-classical registrations have been included in the
B3 Drawbar Settings section, I believe

Hi, great topic. Please does anyone know all the drawbar settings used by Joey De Francesco in his albums (eg. "Godfellas" or "The baddest B3 burner in the business")?
Thanks.

He uses this one a lot:
888400080 with 3rd percussion on.
He sometimes knocks back that 5 1/3' drawbar for more of a 848400080 kind of a sound.

Drawbar speed is silkscreened on the right side of the E3.
2nd column 2nd item down. Try it, It helps. Here's another thing to whine about.
More flexibility would have been good.
Now that the 4D is out this may be a moot pint.

Is there someone who have additional good drawbar settings from famous songs?
I do have the list, but maybe someone still have some more additional settings to it?
Cheers,
Bart

Hi! I'm new to Nord and I have one (probably stupid) questions.
I downloaded B3 presets excel documents and in percussion group (labeled in blue color), last parameter is harm. What excatly is that harm?
