Hello, I'm new to the site and this thread. I just purchased a Nord Lead 2, and very anxious to start using it live. I currently also have a Yamaha MOX6, Roland Fantom-G, and a Novation Supernova 2.

Hey,

I recently purchased a second-hand Nord Lead 1 and it is absolutely amazing! It's not the expanded version unfortunately, but still, 4 voices is enough for me especially as I already own a Korg Triton which has 61-note poly...

Some people believe that the Nord Lead sounds too 'Thin' and 'Cold', but for many, such as myself, find this to be exactly what they are looking for!

Yeah it's a awesome combo... Nord for the thin, cold leads and MiniBrute for the fat, warm basslines (Triton for everything in-between). That's actually the reason why I purchased the Nord to begin with... Knew it would go great with the 'Brute :P

Hello,
I have been reading and learning from you all but I have never posted before now.
I just unpacked and set-up my first NORD! a Nord Lead X2 Rack
which I am playing with an Alesis QS8.2 keyboard to replace my Roland XP-50 which always sounded thin playing live
I have an original Roland Super Jupiter in the studio but I need that FAT sound when I play out, and this is it.
It sounds awesome with just a little added reverb.
