Can you clarify more about the issues? I reckon it's the NS4 updating you're having issues with.
Are you trying to update the Stage, while running Nord Sound Manager at the same time?
The Update Utility can't run when other programs are communicating simultaneously with the Nord Stage.

I was the one who 6 months ago pointed out Midi Sync issue and now I am glad I could write this "fixed" (on sheet ID #33). I must admit that I was lucky to beta test this release because first version was not perfect; first they fixed the main sync but new problems arouse. Last version seemed to work but of course only time will tell that it works in every setup. In my setup (Elektron giving midi sync) it seems work perfect.

I'm glad that they solved the midi clock problem, although some midi problems were solved, with the O.S. version. 1.20 the reception problems of some Midi controls have not yet been resolved. Using an external MIDI keyboard, via the ext KB function, in the synth section it does not receive the midi controls of: modulation wheel, aftertouch, resonance, cutoff, etc...; in the organ section it does not receive the following midi controls: on/off vib/chorus, on/off percussion, function possible with version 0.98. Could it be that after 8 months they haven't been able to resolve these problems? Problems that have been reported repeatedly for 8 months!

You already said that, but doesn't solve the problem of people who cannot update to Sonoma (older Macs for example) or simply do not want to, the update has to work also on older OSs...

I am a newbie. I have installed this new release but now, how do you quit synth menus like vibrato or filter envelope ? A second press on the keys or shift/exit keys do not work anymore...

Press another menu instead... There is always one menu active, so pick the one you want to be shown.

I think the "waveform" is the default menu shown when it wakes up - perhaps that's the one you're used to seeing?

Indeed it is - new and intended behavior. In my view less confusing unless you happen to be used to the previous behavior, and then it can instead be a bit puzzling at first

The NS4 OS update 1.20 for OSX requires at least 10.13 or this is what it is says when you try to open the DMG file with OSX 10.12.
I updated the computer to 10.13 but it gives the same issue as reported above: the update DMG file can be opened but it crashes when I double-click to open the update
Any feedback will be much appreciated
