Anyone else managed to try this on a Stage 4 more recently?
One possible idea is to save it in nsmp3 format and import it that way. If nsmp3 is the only format which recognizes these velocity parameters, it's possible this could work. I know the file is converted to nsmp4 upon import to the Stage, but who knows...

Would be nice to have some Brass, Strings, and Guitars El/Ac/Ny made that way...
