Probably not with pedal noise... Which I hope the Nord Single Pedal and other compatible pedals finally do.

That’s strange - I am using Roland DP-10 sustain pedals on both my NS3-88 and my NS3C and they work without problems out of the box
I have one as well, if it is set as switch and not continuous it works, sure.

Yes correct, as switch here as well - never tried continuous since I don’t need it

The Kawai pedal F-10H is able to be played as a continious pedal as well as handle pedal noise. The Roland can‘t do both of this.

Do you feel the kawai F10H might be a better choice than the Nord sustain pedal 2? I'd read on another forum that the nord sustain pedals aren't that great quality wise and don't last very long....although if they have changed now as stated in the first post that might be a moot point....

In my opinion the Kawai F10H is the same pedal as the Nord stustain pedal 2. So Kawai produces this pedal for Nord. The F10H is one of the best pedals I ever had. It is 10 years old and works perfect. So it is a good choice as it is cheaper.

There were 2 Fatar pedals looking the same as the Nord Triple Pedal - but internally they weren't. So we don't know exactly if the Kawai F10H is the same as the Nord Single Pedal 2 or not -- even if they look the same from outside. Or did I miss anything? Has anybody at least compared the resistance of both pedals?
The F10H basically works on the NS4 and that's good. It would be better if we know that the resistance curve is similar and not one being linear and the other logarithmic.

I like the DP-10 because of the rubber mat which can be moved out to avoid the pedal slipping away when played - how is that with the F10H, does it move away or stays it in place?

This is correct. We are not 100% sure, but we can say that (1) the single pedal looks the same (2) and it works with the continious mode and pedal noise on "pedal type = Nord Singe Pedal 2". So everything we know seems to go in the direction that they are the same. As the price difference to the Nord Singe Pedal 2 is huge it is an excellent option to buy a F10H and never look back. :)

So you have a NS4 now right? Your profile still shows NS3 :)

Hope it will be possible to use the NSP2 also on NS3 by mean of a future OS update, but that really depends on if/how much the electronics of NS4 and NS3 Sustain sockets are different.
