LOL, I completely sympathize!

I guess I can take 1/8” seriously when the connectors are Neutriks or Amphenols. Most everything else, proceed at your own risk...

I fully agree with you there !
Especially on these kind of "pro" instruments, they could easy replace the four outputs with four balanced xlr/jack combos.
It would save a lot of ppl the hassle of getting a balanced signal to FOH without buying an additional mixer/DI.
I was glad they replaced the power connector with a much more used schuko connector but this could also be changed to powercon.

The biggest disadvantage with xlr/powercon is when someone trips over your cables they won't come out but will take your rig along... :(
The following statement is not true. The previous statement is true.

Good luck.

My advice above is based on my own experience in retail and knowledge of trading laws. If a company tries to do the dishonest thing with me, they find I can do particular things to enforce that the matter is dealt with, then they act. With certain acts including previous Nord purchases, I have been forced to take legal action under UK trading standards Act governance with retailers and won. I do not let things lie until I have a satisfactory answer.

If for any reason, you need my help, PM me and I will give you all the assistance I can give you.

Thank you for your detailed explanation. If necessary, I would certainly use this. Today the Nord was repaired. They had read it and found no errors, but because I made 3 videos of the problems, he immediately knew where to look.
The Nord is working properly again. Hope it stays that way.

To clarify, the quote in the immediate, previous post is from Lew, not me. I am in the US, not the UK and my approach would be significantly different.

completely agree with you.

Remember the Roland "Boutique" series? 1/8" single output as a stereo monitor source, ridiculous and unstable. Yes, fine on laptops, ipads, etc but not on audio gear for musicians, producers, etc, that's just asking for trouble. there isn't enough stability or strength in the socket, some sockets are open end, others are enclosed wall contact, hence the "wobble"

No, actually they can't. They don't make "Male" combo xlr jacks.

Ah, missed the “combo” but. Adding XLR would mean an additional set of jacks, yes.

Would be nice, yes. But the Stage has four outputs.

Even with only two outs,Electro's are often paired with other keyboards and providing a Radial quality DI just isn't in the budget. The Key Largo is right along side a UA Apollo for performance.
Where else can a keyboardist find satisfaction like the Key Largo? If you know of one less than 500 dollars let us all know.Where else is a key mixer with these features? Nowhere I can find....
If you think I'm letting 400 dollars vanish you are so wrong. It handles USB,Midi,A NS3-88,NS3C,C2D. Worth every penny and more.Get Nord to make keyboards,Radial to make key mixers.
These Meyer UPM-1P's are a small footprint, big sound very good on the Nords through that little 'tank'.Mind you they are actually SR and not monitors. With a sub is bonafide 123db reinforcement.

Try that E5-HP through my audio chain and you might be surprised.I have louder speakers, they just aren't Meyer.....LOL.
