It's not a welcoming business model
did you notice it's the business model of, well...basically every other brand?
Can you mention another manufacturer which will give you constant and free updates to their sound sets?
Have you ever owned a Yamaha or Roland? It's either "buy the new board for the new sounds and features" or "buy the new expansion card (if/when available) for lots of $$$".
I honestly can't see where you want to go with this constant complaining at Clavia ripping customers off when they, er, answer user feedback (yours included) by providing better samples. Do you want them to replace your instrument for free every time a new sample set comes out?

Just thinking... if the problem in making the new "EP filters" available to older boards is the lack of a dedicated hardware control on the front panel, this is really an issue only in the Nord Piano 1, 2 and 3, and the Electro 5.
The Electro 3 and 4, as well as all the Stage models, have the "Clav EQ" button which could be dedicated to the filters when EPs are selected (actually that's exactly how it works in the E6, NS3 and NP4).
I have no idea if this can be done from a software point of view, just saying that the control on the panel is there.
Anyway, filters or not, I can't wait to try the new pianos on my NS2EX!

Maybe is the lack of processor's power....
Imagine how angry I would have to be with Roland then! My Roland Juno G never had new sounds for free, just a software update when they finished testing the sampling part, plus all the screens failed after a while. The saddest thing is that there are no official drivers for Windows 10 either and several users have it working after editing two lines in the Win 8 driver. What did it cost Roland to do that? Nothing !!
And despite all this I still love my Juno G, and in certain aspects it is even more powerful than my Stage 2.
Therefore I think we should be grateful for the free sounds and the updates that the mothership gives us every now and then. It's just my opinion, you do not have to agree.

You have to wait for a system update.
