Maybe reading this thread from the start...?

Oops sorry, I should have be more specific, any chance it's written on the box ? Should the distributor be able to tell ? Or I will find out only when I unbox it ?
I was planning on getting the Nord monitor too, and the bracket looks like they only fit on the rev B, that's why this could be important for me

Maybe you could ask the dealer to check before shipping, since you're presumably buying a set with monitors (and brackets - don't forget those) and want to check you can use it all together?

I can check my boxes at home as I have the early rev NS3 Compact and most recent one as well. I am pretty sure there was something on the box to indicate the newer rev.

Hi,
take a look at my post at the first page of this thread, you will see pictures from my Stage 3 compact as well as from my Stage 3 88. The compact is the “old” revision, Stage 3 88 is the new one. Look at what’s printed on the panel to know what the old and new versions are for both of them

After reading this thread, I contacted Sweetwater and asked them if they could verify that the NS3 compacts they had in stock were the rev b version. It took a couple emails, but they were able to confirm it before I purchased it.

I ordered a revb, but got a reva. I sent the dealer and importer the serial, importer and nord could crosscheck. I got my revb now since the reva was exchanged immediately.

Won't you be so kind and show us photo of rear panel of Stage 3 88 rev. B? As this is only version of Stage 3 88 where you can mount brackets for monitors. It is not a available for rev. A. Optimaly also with hole distances for monitor brackets. There are many users who want to find out how to make a holes for brackets

Current HW version for Stage 3 88 appears to be 5.2. Also here’s a nice chart comparing the differences between the ‘old’ and ‘new’ versions, taken from Marc @ “My Keys to Music” excellent training course on the Stage 3.

Not sure if Mark from MK2M is fine with his charts being displayed in this context. Great overview, but maybe copyrighted. At least, it's advertisement for him.
