Re: Sound Manager software for iOS request
A 100$ (max, new or used) Win10 tablet with 1 USB OTG port solves the problem and is already available.

Re: Sound Manager software for iOS request
Buying a Windows tablet when I’m already an iPad and Mac user creates about sixteen problems for the one it solves.

For most people yes this would be a fantastic solution, but it might not have been clear that LewTheKeysGuy is blind and that the iPad simply has better non-sighted navigation.maxpiano wrote:A 100$ (max, new or used) Win10 tablet with 1 USB OTG port solves the problem and is already available.

@cgrafx: I didn’t catch that, I am sorry, anyway not answering him directly, my post was more addressing the general point about having “the Nord Library available on a tablet” (@analogika: I’d use my Mac for that too, but so far I am OK with preparing all at home, so I need neither on stage)

Sorry about this, I should have explained the whole "Accessibility" issue, but it's not worth the hassle going through what "VoiceOver" for MacOS and iOS can do for blind users. Believe it or not, the Stage, Electro, Piano, Grand and Leads,, basically any Nord keyboard / module is beautifully tactile but easily navigable. Screen readers are vital for me. I can't just move to a windows platform and grab a cheap touch screen tablet because in order to do this, I'd have to change the entire accessibility porting. Windows requires third party screen reading software which is not designed for musicians and producers like me.cgrafx wrote:For most people yes this would be a fantastic solution, but it might not have been clear that LewTheKeysGuy is blind and that the iPad simply has better non-sighted navigation.maxpiano wrote:A 100$ (max, new or used) Win10 tablet with 1 USB OTG port solves the problem and is already available.

The worst thing about accessibility solutions for windows is this, If you're like me, a Protools user (formerly Protools HD), no such music production system works with a screen reader in windows, yet on a mac, Logic Pro X and Protools / Protools HD work perfectly with VoiceOver. a heck of an improvement on spoken data.
Sorry lol.
