I had this problem over years!!!! Dull not brilliant sound of the e-pianos of my Nordstage 2 Ex 88. Used different monitors, but the solution was the QSC K8.2!!! This is real great for the Nordstage sounds. So brilliant and clear! Did buy a pair in ebay-Kleinanzeigen in germany for 900.-€ the pair. Worth every pence!!! Now I created the sound with the Nordstage-EQ, run the QSC flat and store this preset. On stage with other monitors/PA's I trim the stored sound with the EQ of the mixer to get it near to my used hearing now. So I never change the presets of the keyboard after getting the best sound together with the QSC K8.2. And where it is possible I use them as monitors on stage also...
