I don't understand why they won't make it easier for us to back up to the next Nord?
It's my job and I don't have time to waste to recreate all my programs!!
I remember the exact problem when I went from the Nord Stage to the Nord Stage 2 and I don't need that inconvenience now...
We talked about it with other keyboardists and we won't buy the new one for the same reason...
If it was easier to backup a Nord Stage to the next one, I'm sure a lot of us would buy it right now!!
Nord is a small company, less than 30 employees, and they intend to keep it that way. Their order books are filled for years to come. They don’t need or want to sell hundreds of thousands of these boards a year. If you’re not ready to buy one now, they’re perfectly okay with that.
Wow!!
Thank you for the lesson professor, and thank you for patronizing me!
Next time I speak with them I'll mentioned that!
Sorry if I thought that a forum was made to talk about problems a lot of us have...
The response to “a lot of people would buy one right now if XYZ were done” is “they’re already selling them as fast as they can make them. They’re not interested in investing more to increase sales.”

You may find that patronising.

But it’s not *my* attitude. I’m not Nord.

I wouldn’t have minded a conversion utility when I switched to the Stage 3, myself.
