The weakest sounds on my Nord Stage that I want to use is the Saxophone and Trumpet. I know they can sound so much better (Like on a Yamaha Motif) - so if it's possible I would like to get some better samples. When I try to play Careless Whisper or Smooth Operator, it does not sound very convincing now....
But I feel I have all the pianos I need (or at least space for)...

...and the worship crowd buys lots of Nords - I can see the reasoning here - nothing wrong with that is there?

I think it's nice that Nord is trying to build up a unique collection of pianos, something special. Maybe not always the commercially best choice, but interesting choices. I think it's also interesting the Steinway No. 1 is only available in XL - no "modern musician" (whatever that is) will actually carry it around in his limited space, but having a try - why not? Once you're at home, handling a 131MB XL-Version isn't really a problem.
The upcoming "Gospel Classics" are a great thing in my opinion. And I'm pretty sure they won't take too much storage space. And these typical Gospel-Sounds like the ones that will be featured have a huge part in music history..! That's maybe something a lot of europeans aren't completely aware of.

There is a pretty good trumpet sound in the user sample section called legato trumpet... not sure if it would work for your purposes but it might be worth a try.

Wonder how we get the password and why would it be locked down?

I doubt we are meant to have the password - when/if Nord wants it public they'll open it up. My theory is (in order of likelihood):
a) Nord is teasing out bits of info daily to maximize publicity, or,
b) There was some technical issue with the Gospel piano files, or
c) Roland has prohibited them from releasing the sound-sets at all (Roland is known to be very protective of their legacy sounds) - especially where their newly announced RD-2000 also has the MKS-20 sounds on-board.
Just a theory

I don't think Roland can prohibit the sounds from being released. Nord may have to use different names for the sounds but that would be about it. I expect that they will be available within a few days at most.

I hope that is not the case for sure, I am looking forward to trying these out. I have some MKS-20 and JD800 single layer .NSMP in my NP2 from this forum, would like to try some multi-layer ones. I use them with my fusion/smooth jazz group.

LOL I know, I'm just being super anxious....since they aren't charging I doubt Roland can stop them. My concern is that they were on the news page and then they weren't so I'm thinking it's going to be more than a couple days. But we shall see
