Organ split (for upper and lower manuals) requires two sets of drawbar settings, that certainly makes sense. Splitting/layering two piano sounds may not be the most common thing to do, but it can certainly be useful, whether to split two different sounds (a clav and a rhodes for example), or detune a couple of acoustic piano layers, or to layer two different sounds from that section (I remember some popular layers of FM EP + some other kind of piano sound).DJKeys wrote:I am disappointed that they still have 2 layers each dedicated to Organ and Piano.
Depends when you looked at it.Hlaalu wrote:So what does that mean? Weren't 20 hours or so supposed to be left?
I was just looking at the Stage 2 downloads from Nord's website, and the White Grand is available for it. So it seems Nord supports older models for quite some time with newer samples. That's basically what I'm hoping for with my NS3.Schorsch wrote:.... as long as they don't change the Piano sample format .... which is possible in general but not very likelymaxpiano wrote:Correct.dansnord wrote: OK, but just to confirm, if they release a new grand piano sample for the NS4, I will be able to use it, or a nearly identical one, on the NS3 if I make room for it, correct?
