This is (probably) easily fixed with a software update

Oh well. This doesn't sound like the instrument for you. I'm sorry you're disappointed with it. Based on what I've read of what you written so far, you'd be much better off sticking with the original Wave or finding another instrument that has the features you desire. I know that can be frustrating.

Me, I'm looking forward to finding out what I can do with it. :)
Yeah sorry to be a downer lol, I'm sure some cool different stuff can be done with Wave 2 and I will give it a go at the store, but I feel like I've already figured it all out in my head, whereas, my exploration on the original wave over 10 years somehow still feels like I'm just beginning and there aren't even that many control factors on it - it's more the particular choice of control factors available and their topology/routing that is endless.

This is a great demo, thanks! You can see that the layer volume can be morphed with the wheel, which is very cool. I can't wait until the Owners Manual is published-

Just reading the all thread and making comments even if I'm on page 5 out of 17.... For a synth Keybed, I never liked my NL2X Keybed, no comparison with my P08 or P12, I can't play fast lines on the NL2X .... And it's supposed to be a fast Synth action!!!!

This was exactly the point I was trying to make earlier in the thread. I love my NS3, but its not a synth action and neither is the Wave 2 (which uses the same keybed).

For me that makes this a deal breaker. Please keep in mind this is my personal preference and is not meant as a statement that others should stop considering or buying the Wave 2.

I've found that my pre-order should be showing up around the end of April (US). Seems some initial estimates of mid-March were optimistic. New orders through at least one internet reseller are supposed to start mid-May now.
I can't wait!!

I didn't know that but now it make sense why I was always in love with this synth, it has "la pĂȘche"....
