Today I canceled my order for an NS4 from my dealer. I will continue playing with the NS3.
Because I can't play my gigs without a song mode. Another tribute band every night, and everything is perfectly saved in a row in the song mode...
Why did they do without this fantastic tool? I can't believe it!!!
I hope for an update and will buy the NS4 immediately...

Same like me, no Song Mode, no Stage 4...

Same here.. No S4 for the same reason.. I don't call it a Stage 4, because frankly it's not a keyboard meant to be played on stage anymore. I think the "S" really stands for "Studio". I'm waiting for the 2024 Stage 5 with Song Mode.

I can understand the disappointment in seeing a very useful functionality being discontinued, but NS Classic/EX/2/2EX have no Song mode and they have been (and still are) used on stages long time so I would not be that "extreme".

To each it's own I think.
I had the NS3 from the start and used the song-mode too.
But it became a real hassle to have to maintain songs and put them in order of the setlist each time on a tiny screen.
So I started using bandhelper to tackle both 'problems' and never looked back.
Yes, it's extra costs (mostly the tablet, bandhelper is a dollar a month subscription and is actively maintained, I'm a happy user, not affiliated!) but being able to setup the list away from my keyboard is a real plus to me.

Exactly what I did, best solution ever for me

Same thing here for me. Using an IPad Mini mounted on my mic stand with Songbook+ to display lead sheets and send Midi commands to the Stage 3/4 to select programs. Simple and effective.

To overcome the lack of song mode, I have connected my NS4 to my iPAD with a CME WIDI jack and have started adding program changes to all my charts in Onsong. I created a MIDI program change chart for to help with the task, which helped until I realized that Onsong has a MIDI listen mode, so now just click on the song title to open the MIDI control, click listen and then press the Program button on the NS4.
NS4 Program Change Chart attached if it is use to anyone.

I just fixed the error in the chart and replaced the original upload with V2.

Is there any news about the SONG MODE?
I hope they will bring it in an update ...
