Love it as it is (action, sound, design, joy to play) but if they added 2GB more ram at piano section it would be the perfect product.
As it is now, to have the Steinway-d, Fazioli, etc. you have to invest time in deciding what samples to sacrifice etc.
I think ram is so cheap at this day and age so adding 2GB more in an otherway quite pricy product would not be demanding too much.

Apart from +2GB more piano sample memory:

1. Optical out for perfect recording
2. Dedicated line out for recording (as it is now I use a patchbay from the speakers out - it works well though but could be nice to have separate outs).

WHITE GRAND well tuned version

It would be nice to get and optional well tuned White Grand piano sound. Should not be too complicated for Clavia sound engineers to do this modification and offer a second version of this White grand.I understand that a slightly out of tune piano could sound more natural in some cases but it is not always granted specially when you play solo piano.

I have to disagree. I love the slight imperfection in the White’s tuning and if anything, playing solo should be LESS of an issue. Playing with other well tuned instruments is more problematic.

Everyone’s mileage varies. That’s ok.

I would LOVE a new D in XL please and thank you Nord!!

Hi Maurus

I have the following wishes:

- Ivory touch feel of the keys. Even the much cheaper Dexibell (Italian brand) has that (don't know which Fatar it is, but it is a Fatar)
- More Split points, at least one more each on the right and left side
- UNISON button for the Piano engine like on the NG2
- A new sample of the Wurlitzer (thanks for the Stockholm Rhodes, finally a professional Rhodes). The Wurli are just not good enough.

thank you Nord

Dear Nord, please give NP6 outputs 3 and 4 with patch-by-patch and/or global assignability like NS4 has now.
AND YES they should be balanced, thanks.

Cee wrote: 20 Oct 2011, 14:47 Well, since this is the Nord Piano they could make the keyboard heavier so it's more like a piano.

If people are not comfortable with heavier touches they can always look at the synths Nord makes, which are also great and would still have the piano bank.
Make sense! I own a grand 2 which is supposed to be "Nord best" grand piano clone with the new kawai keybed action. To my opinion, it is still too light for being a good substitute instrument for practicing your piano technic. It offers an easy and enjoyable feeling for LIVE playing but it will not train your fingers for playing on a real acoustic piano. Otherwise, it is a great instrument for stage live playing.
