Nord entered the market with 1 product in 1994 - Nord Lead...and has never operated on a holiday gift schedule.
do what the rest of us poor folks do...order a CHIA Pet and wait for Musikmesse Frankfurt...and if they announce new product, it will arrive in the following October.

Hey you could be surprised. I still have my old Roland RD-2000 and was shocked to see last night after years they just release a firmware update with a new German Grand and seventeen other sounds. So looks like patience does pay off.

Others tell me you need to purchase a lifetime license in order to get that new piano model? The update only opens the door to that online store, right?

That’s Roland … my Nords had a lifetime license included when I bought them

What I derive from that job offer is two things:
a) growing business may have drawn their attention from development - which isn't a sign for inactivity;
b) development has some workload that needs to be destressed in order to get reliable products designed.
