The thump in his video doesn't really sound any different than the MP11 does. I just pressed on my v1 MP11 with it turned off and it makes about the same sound. And, remember that real acoustic piano's make about the same sound (and dB) as his recording. You just can't hear it because the piano's are so much louder.
Enjoy the menus, GuiliClayder. You will be using them a lot to get the Kawai to sound any good. My MP11 is standing on its side in a closet.

And the MP11SE's keybed is on the same level as the VPC1's, if not slightly better.
And yes, I know the Nord Stage 2 in this video has a Fatar keybed, but you can clearly hear that the VPC1 is near silent...

I think they have been trickling out slowly so far, and most online website are backed up on preorders. Nord said US shipments would ramp up in September but I don’t know what that means for European shipments.

Just for fun, called around to a handful of my favorite USA internet retailers, and -- well -- it looks backed up until October or so. Because supply is scarce, not much negotiating on price, either. I *hate* paying full boat prices, so there's that as well.
