are 4 mm rivets aluminium made... all standard rivets

and works ok is a solid ensamble and kite stable, i play live with it and I move very much in the gig... jeje

only must make 8 holes in the button of the keyboard with a 4.5 mm drill and fixed the nord pieces, it a easy operation

Can you just drill holes in the keyboard without damaging something?

ok, there is no problem for make the holes, in the botton side of the keyboard there is no damage parts

you must use a top for the drill and meke the operation with care, of course.... and be sure that no sty any little metalic parts inside the keyboard when you finish

Are aluminium rivets strong enough for this? Wouldn't it be better instead some more strong bolt with a lock-washer or similar ?

Hi all,

I just bought a Stage 2 76 with the Nord stand and can't get the screws off the keyboard to fit it. The dealer insists they should be normal screws, but they look like some kind of five-pointed screw head to me, and they won't budge with any kind of screwdriver or any amount of force. Did anyone else have this problem? Are your screws just Philips heads or the same as mine? Any ideas how to get the screws out?!

Nord has moved from Philips head screws to T-bit head screws, commonly referred to as "star-drive." Get the right tool for the job and there will be no problem.

Hi gang! First post! Excuse the bump of an old(ish) thread, but I figured this was as good a place as any.

I bought an Electro 3 61 a few months before the HP was released. It was in November...of 2010? I distinctly remember at the time that there was a stand option (although possibly only for the 73?). Remember...no sign of the HP at this time. Once the HP was released, that was the only one with a stand option. Today, I seem to be unable to find any reference to a Nord-manufactured stand other than the EX.

Am I losing my marbles, or was there a (now discontinued) stand prior to the NE3HP? I like the Nord stand - it's neat / elegant. I'll use a third-party one if needs be, but I'd like to use an original if I can. I'm aware that one possible (and frustrating!) answer is that "yes there was one, but it was only for the 73"! I'm tempted to buy the EX stand and use Rivnuts to add threaded holes for it, but a correctly fitting one is obviously preferable.

p.s: For your amusement, despite owning such a beautiful instrument, I am not at all formally trained. The Electro 3 was supposed to be my motivation to learn more...but I've under-utilised it to-date. Anyway...the "how many black keys in the scale of E major" threw me completely. I had to Google it

Yes, you are now operating on fewer marbles than you started with. That stand has only been available to HA and HP, and dual manual SW action Nord keyboards (organs). There has never been any such stand available for you single manual SW or synth action Nords.

depends on whether your instrument has traditional keybed or reverse keybed...
