When I'm using Sound Manager, if my computer goes to sleep, or for any reason loses connection to the keyboard, the sample and program windows go blank, and get repopulated when the computer reconnects with the keyboard. Perhaps you just saw your computer (and Sound Manager) losing connection, then reconnecting to, your board.

Pablo, Apparently there were power cuts in the local vicinity when contractors hit a main cable and took out supply to a number of houses, (not mine), I think thereby could lie a possible cause. I will take your advice and keep the watchful eye out and also back up my banks and samples more frequently.
Also, I will download latest version of Sound Mamager
