Imho, it's possible to edit the noise without loose the mapping in the .nwiproj.... i'll try later.

OK - the project file is only a few k, so it looks like it needs the .wav files too. I have put everything here:

The wav is split into 5 files (not 4) - some are quite large. Have a play, but I'll record better ones in around 3 weeks.

Wav's cleaned, normalized and looping on 3 lowest notes. Wav's were in stereo, but mono recorded, so converted to mono too.
I can't try it in my Nord till tonight.

Hey thanks Leo; nice small file size. I just tried it - you've definitely fixed the noise issue (hiss is gone!), but the velocities aren't great. When I first made the sample I used the normalise function in the sample editor but it set all the velocities wrong so I manually adjusted them so they sounded right. Some of the groups of notes in your version really jump out loudly.

So we're not quite there yet, but making progress! I think having a decent set of clean sounds to work from will make the biggest difference....
