I made a program (in my case D 1:1 - easy to remember for an old guy) and set all things on A and B slot to initial values (synth init but also organ, piano, effect section, reverb etc.) and the synth source switch to a sample (e.g. 100). Then I store it permanently.
When I want to test a new sample from this fabulous platform or from Nord I load the sample to a free place and insert the sample number into the program. Sometimes it makes sense to compare an old sample with a new one (e.g. this nice steel drum) I put the new sample in slot A and the old sample in slot B. I never store that program - so its always the initial config. Very simple but practical.
Very smart and sooooooo simple !

This is fantastic. Today I found myself needing steel drums for a work, and here it is, the best sounding yet! Thank you.
