The NS2 memory may be able to fit all of the Grand pianos but if you did that you wouldn't be able to fit the Upright pianos, Epianos, Clavinet and Harpsichords. Personally, I think Clavia should have put double the memory or at least make it possible to add more.
I have the NS2 and would like to replace the Bdorf Piano with the XL version but I would have to delete other piano sounds to make space and each one is linked to multiple programs which would no longer work.
There is space for 400 programs but they are all used up so I will have to delete some if I want to create my own.
I love the sound of the NS2 but wish there was more memory.
Nord Stage 2 why so small memory?

y166004,
you're absolutely right regarding the sample space. But don't await an *upgrade*, this will not happen.
But for the program memory keep in mind that by factory default the banks a and d are filled up with the same programs. So you can just overwrite one of them with your own programs without loosing any presets.
cheers,
Bernard
