I'm having a look at Cajon Kits and maybe I'll try to make a "snare like" pedal.
There are a lot of ideas on the internet, have to spend some time wandering around in the house and make some trial & error, it's fun

Or maybe go for a Nord Drum 2 and then it's here, connect the pedal to the ND, ready to play, but not cheap ...
( the problem is how could I justify this expense at my next W.A.F. control ... )

W.A.F. control? Not familiar with the term, but from context am guessing that I'm familiar with the concept...what does WAF stand for?
Here is the D.C.E.P.F.C ( Darwin Castagnette Evolution Pedal Frankenstein Concept ).
With a piezo (contact mic), so could be pluged into a Nord Drum ...
