My personal impression: the NE5 brings innovations that are not yet in the NS line, mostly memory size and screen. With the splits, they bring the NE 5 closer to the NS market.
For me, this clearly show that there is a new NS coming (and probably a NP). The only question is when, but i would bet on it coming before the NAMM 2016.

Hi guys,
I'm not sure you have already worked for a company and know how difficult it is to build a new product

and this is new only by name ,aka crippled ns2/c4d
so ppl want something new ,not just another re-boxing of existing tech

Perhaps en early picture from a prototype ? I don't know.

I have to admit that my Nord Stage 2 still looks like new....so, i can wait until 2016 or later to update !

Aye, but the NE5 shown in the 'banner' photo is slightly different button-wise. Prototype i guess. It has the knob below the display like in the video.

That's a felt tip marker pen cap. Not included in keyboard purchase.

Now reread all the guessing above and in other posts and smile :keyboard2:

I think the video shows an Electro 5 in a different stage of development, but I hope I'm wrong. As was stated, the picture in the banner graphic shows the knob closer to the screen.

I think it was slightly cruel on Clavia's part to release a teaser video that most expected to be a Stage. Getting folks hopes up and letting them down isn't exactly good marketing strategy, eh? Who am I kidding? I know nothing about marketing. I just love the sweet sounds I can milk out of Clavia's products... And cookies. I also like cookies.
