Hi there, I was searching a sound for "Simply the Best" for my current cover project and wasn't fully pleased with the already posted sounds.

So please find attached my own solution thats works pretty well in the band context so far.

RedLeo wrote:The sound for the main keyboard riff on the intro and verses was a factory preset from a Roland D50 slightly edited. (I can't remember the name of it offhand). The bad news is that this sound is probably going to be next to impossible to replicate on a Stage. A quick Google tells me it was the "OK Chorale" preset. You might be better off trying to find a sample of the original D50 sound and use that.
...or buying a Roland D-05, a great machine in my opinion and not expensive

I just read the review online and it says clearly:
"On stage, keep your own D50 because small stereo jack and USB power cannot be considered as a real "Pro" features, contrary of what Roland states about the D-05 but for studio use, arpeggiater and sequencer will enhance a lot the original..."...I have my D50 that shows no shame compared to the D-05 after 30 years...What Is interesting tough is that the new D-05 follow the PG-1000 live way better than the D50...I might buy one in the future...
