From these responses it is not clear to me that my previous post is understood. Some of these programs are purposely detuned in order to create the non-tonic intervals needed to emulate B3 playing. For example, if one wants to blend in the 3rd partial drawbar, there needs to be a program which has been detuned upwards a 3rd so that when one plays a C the program will provide an E. Hopefully this will make sense, yes?

And, possibly relevant, the non-unison harmonic partials, if actually detuned upwards to match harmonics, would be slightly out of tune with their nearest notes, although this seems unlikely as this isn't how it is done in the Hammond itself.pablomastodon wrote:From these responses it is not clear to me that my previous post is understood.
