Analogika, thanks for the input, i'm really taking a like at mackie products. Unfortunately my focusrite saffire just died on me so instead of looking for a submix i am now in search for one that can also be use as an audio interface as well. Sayig that i like mackie the 802i onyx looks really good. The other one in my mind is zed60-10fx, havent had a chance to do A/B comparison but heard both seperately about a year apart. Gonna have to try and A/B both. Any thoughts?

presonus 1818 VSL rocks for 1U submix and doubles as audio interface, but you gotta have computer with you at all times; it doesn't work standalone

Hi guys, thought i should let you all know that i decided to go with the A&H ZED60-14FX. I find it's sound the 'flat-est' and well within my budget. Plenty of channels for future expansion.
