Thanks rb4u1,
Good idea! I can probably contact Pablo Mastadon to see about that.. it is an older unit, but Nord may have spare parts. I don't think the Stage 2 end pieces are the same.

I have some damage on one of the side panels of my stage ex. I remember that I was quite shocked when I finally found out the price of a replacement panel. It was well over $100. It might be easier to find yourself a handyman who can handcraft one out of a piece of wood. You can use the original as a template. You will pobably lose the curve, since that is the hardest to do without professional equipment. But the materials for a small block of wood and some paint will most likely keep your total cost under $20.

Thanks heisterkamp,
That IS expensive, but everything about these instruments is first class, so I suppose that's to be expected. I should be getting the instrument today, so I'll assess the damage then decide what to do.
Rather than have someone take a piece of wood and not match the end piece perfectly, I'll look into a repair first, and failing that, think about a new piece from Nord. A good glue joint can be VERY strong, assuming there's not much wood missing. Then it's a matter of some wood filler and matching up the paint as closely as possible. So, we'll see!
