Nord Lead 1/2/2x - who is using it?

Yes,I know that it's in production for a long time.(my serial number is very high)
So I bought it ,and also because this synth is what I need .
I was first interested in the Arturia minibrute but they keep canceling the release date and I also want to play chords and pads etc....
I played my new nord lead 2X yesterday for the first time .
And now that I have learned more skills in the past 2 years I have to say WAAAAUUUUWWW WHAT A COOL SYNTH.
My only fear was that I would not be able to get a fat warm bass sound out of it ,so yesterday the first thing I did was making a fat bassline from scratch and it was just amazing .
Warm,fat,analog,this one will never leave my studio !(or there must be a fire)

If Clavia would stop the production of this unit there would be a crazy hunt after the new ones in the shops and the price will maybe go a little higher.

About those new record of 20 years in production: Hans Nordelius (the boss in Stockholm) told me in person to try to reach this figure!
(In business terms: the lead paid the development of the Electro and the Stage; the Electro and the Stage pay the Lead its old-age-funds...)

20 years,OMG!
I have to say that I was not so happy with the announcement of the Nord drum (because I'm not a drummer) and that I was expecting a new Nord Lead .
But the cool thing about this synth (NL2X) is that they are so reliable ,this is my second Nord synth and it works without any problem.
If I look to forums of other manufacturers and compare it with my experience with Nord synths .....2 different worlds!
I'm going to play it now
If I have questions I will show up on this forum:)
I hope that the Netherlands wins the E.K. but they have to make sure to put Robben on the bench during the final or maybe send him a few km away from the stadion because he's bringing bad luck with a Final.

Congrats on the purchase! I used to own a Prophet'08, but it was in the shop every 3 months fixing an issue with the encoders. Nice synth, but not at all reliable. So I got rid of the Prophet'08 and acquired my NL2x. I have owned it now for 2 years, not had a single issue with it, and the sounds are incredible! I understand your excitement

Hi together!
I´m new here, I play my NL2 most times together with my Nord Electro3 with some bands and solo using it with a Roland MC-909, a Roland Gaia SH-1 and a Novation Ultranova going into a MackieOnyx1620 Mixer with Korg Kaoss Pad.

My Nordlead2 was buyed by a friend (I think 1998 or 2000 around) and he gave it to me as a present ´cause he wants to start playing guitar. Oh what a lucky boy I am! I didnt use it for 2 years and during a session with friends I started to play with it at 2:30 in the morning. And since this time I love it so much.
The Motherboard and the wooden stick are changed in between and it works properly most times. Trouble only with power spikes from bad electricity installations at some places (not at my home-studio god-thanks). Because of this problems I buyed a Furman Power Conditioner but it didn´t help against the strange problems (shutting down immediatly, trying to restart, producing only krkskrkskrks or even no sound). But as I wrote this occurs only at ONE place where I use to play life-gigs. On other places - NO problem ever!

Conclusio:
I´ll NEVER would give away any of my CLAVIA things, for me this gear is the best!
