Hi
Yes. There are 4 vesions of each analog style waveforms. Standard, detunable dual (one extra w/f with a -12/+12 range in semitones), synchable (hidden sync oscillator)and shap-able version (tri-shape, saw-shape and pulse-width) of all three.

So i guess they had it all figured out :)
Glad to hear they kept the detunalbe saw waves!!
Now I hope that wavetable sequencing is possible... but who knows, maybe if its not at the beggining, it could be done in an update.

I posted a question about the wavetables. Waiting for an answer.
But looking at the synth section on the nord stage 2 i can see you have shape modulation where you can choose and mix between enevelope or lfo as modulators. If you can modulate the waveshape with the lfo, than maybe a sweepable wavetable sound is possible.
Other than that, i'm pretty sure it also means you can do PWM, by applying the lfo on the square wave.
On the whole, i think this new synth section is much deeper than it actually looks. A lot of hidden stuff.
Clavia should invest time in making proper demos of the synth section. As an owner of the classic nord stage,
i know the synth section is very useful - but people tend to look down on it, simply because they don't know what it's really capable of.
And about this new synth section - all the more so.

Ok. Here's the answer i got about the wavetables:
Hi
No, our wavetables (in the Stage, Stage EX, Stage 2 and the Wave) consist of several digitally generated, complex waveforms. These provide a "correct" harmonic content even if they are transposed several octaves (like traditional waveforms do, and unlike a sample behave). These wavetables are not sweepable in the PPG/Waldorf fashion.

Can't have everything, i guess.
Still, it looks like a major improvement on the older stage synth section.
