Forgot to say that I'm primarily a guitar player and use a Line 6 HD500 and a pair of QSC K12s for amplification. The C2D also goes to the K12s via an Ashley line mixer. No room in the car for a Leslie, tho I'm sure it'd sound great.

For a "realistic sound".
Model 122 (a real leslie is not close miked i a room without PA)
I think i use normal for the speeds.
Top rotor on Lelsie spees up in less than two second.
Bottom rotor is ca: 4 - 10 depending on belt tension.
Set the fast speeds so it suits your ears. You should be able to have it on for 8 hours and like the sound.
