Ever played in Asia?

i was supposed to be visiting Asia on a World Cruise contract earlier this year, but i had to fly back home to UK from Middle East en-route due to family problems.

Most of the pro musicians I've supported end the gig and hope for enough cash to have dinner and buy gas to get to the next gig. People who make music their career have my respect - I could never do it. Music for me is just a huge expense financially, though it's very rewarding otherwise.

Finding regular work is getting harder and harder. Most venues can't afford LIVE music because of the financial ressession the world is currently in. Playing 'one-nighters' is a young persons game and can be a struggle to finacially make ends meet. You end up doing it for the LOVE of it !!
