There are plenty of real bugs that need to be fixed going through the current list that I tested. For example, create a program with a flanger effect - when you boot up with that program ANY program with that effect has it turned off until you reload the program. Load it again it's off while other effects still work. Create a program with any layer enabled in the first scene and not in the other; play a chord and let it sustain with the pedal and switch to the other scene - it cuts out. However if the layer is in the other scene, it sustains. The transition works differently between layers than it does programs. That's just two of many.

Agreed. There are still many bugs to stomp and hopefully new features to come.

And now comes the summer break, then nothing happens until autumn.

I am using my NS4C exclusively in Aux KB Mode using a Korg D1 as an 88 note weighted bottom controller and have no issues with the pedals which are all plugged into the NS4 as well as wheel, pitch and AT.
In my setup all sounds are coming from the NS4 with the D1 as a controller only which may be different than your setup.
Problem exist when you try to use external keyboard’s wheel/ped./AT to control NS4. Suppose you have a MIDI controller with all these (like they normally have). In that setup those are practically useless. To me there’s no excuse why this does not work anymore like it was in NS3 and before.

The thing that bothers me a lot, is the volume fader
Is that very complicate to not make it jump ? Make it catch the level does not seem to be a big issue... I don't understand
I love this keyboard for many reasons, but that thing...?!

I couldn't agree more, please Nord make a 'catch' option i the main option page by global or by preset. I've got the same problem with basically any knobs/fadder/modwheel because i like to tweak the parameter by hands while playing with the other hand.

Yes, there are plenty of improvements that could be made on top of fixing the bugs. Along with the fader implemention itself, Nord's choice to place the reverb and delay effects pre-fader introduces an odd, unnatural effect in performance. The Leslie routing in the amp section also places the Leslie before the Chorus and other effects that should be pre-Leslie.

Having done product mgmt, I often speculate what projects a small, focused company like Clavia might be working on next.
As far as I can tell, they're working hard to get their Organ 3 into the marketplace. That's important, as their next project is likely an Electro 7 in response to the Viscount Legend One which will depend mightily on the new engine.
Meanwhile, they appear to be selling boatloads of Stage 4s and Electro 6s. The new Roland V-Stage, while a nice board, doesn't seem to be putting any sort of hurt on Nord. The Nord Piano and Grand are specialty items now, so I wouldn't expect to see much action there. Not a lot of incentive to put a development team on the NS4 right now that I can see.
And, no, I don't expect them to return full external midi functionality to the NS4 anytime soon, as they appear to have removed it for reasons.
