… and here‘s the socket of the electro 5D61. Could there be a reason for mounting it this or that way? Honestly, I‘d preferred it the way it is on your Prophet to keep the power switch free.

Power cables come in either orientation.
On the Digikey website, they use the terms "right angle" and "left angle" to distinguish.

In addition to searching for "right angle" and "left angle," it is also important to study the photos of the cables to see which way they have the socket facing, as a right angle for my Prophet 6 would be a left angle for the NE5, given the way the sockets are mounted opposite on each model.

It took me a while to get it right when I was first searching for an extra long right angle IEC cable for my NS2EX some ten years ago. The first one I ordered was facing the wrong direction based on the socket orientation on the back of the Nord.
