Here you go:Tasten-Bert wrote: ↑18 Apr 2025, 19:13 @ericL, I‘d love to see a foto of your prophet‘s power socket unplugged, just to make sure that it’s not mounted the other way round, i. e. top down.
Thanks in advance and happy easter

Re: Angle Power Cable
… and here‘s the socket of the electro 5D61. Could there be a reason for mounting it this or that way? Honestly, I‘d preferred it the way it is on your Prophet to keep the power switch free.
Cheers from sunny Germany, happy Easter

Re: Angle Power Cable
Power cables come in either orientation.Tasten-Bert wrote: ↑19 Apr 2025, 18:55 … and here‘s the socket of the electro 5D61. Could there be a reason for mounting it this or that way? Honestly, I‘d preferred it the way it is on your Prophet to keep the power switch free.
On the Digikey website, they use the terms "right angle" and "left angle" to distinguish.

Re: Angle Power Cable
In addition to searching for "right angle" and "left angle," it is also important to study the photos of the cables to see which way they have the socket facing, as a right angle for my Prophet 6 would be a left angle for the NE5, given the way the sockets are mounted opposite on each model.pterm wrote: ↑21 Apr 2025, 16:24Power cables come in either orientation.Tasten-Bert wrote: ↑19 Apr 2025, 18:55 … and here‘s the socket of the electro 5D61. It took me a while to get it right when I was first searching for an extra long right angle IEC cable for my NS2EX some ten years ago. The first one I ordered was facing the wrong direction based on the socket orientation on the back of the Nord.
Cheers!
