I think we all can agree to the hope of an update in all sorts, and especially of the organ section due to the new Nord organ.
But the Nord Stage has always been about compromises. The keys are i bit on the light end (from a pianist view), the synth-section are based on the NW2, but not quite as powerful as the synth. The same with the organ section.
Based on this i don't agree with the narrative that the NS4 is no longer a flagship if the organ-section isn't severely updated.

The NS4 is two years now. If the development of the new Nord organ 3 was to be based on the compatibility with NS4 I think this would have been a huge drawback and obstacle for the developers.
So hurra for the new Nord organ 3, and lets see (and hope) if it brings any improvements for the NS4.

And even no Tonewheelsound at all.

Hi Theosan, what do you mean by this?
We can determine that it's not a Tonewheel :D

Hallo Schorsch. Tonewheels generate a unique sound which I prefer near other organs. I owned nearly 2 years ago a Hammond SKX pro with a very good Tonewheel engine. Not the original real thing of course but a very good and very deep tweakable clone.
Just like a very deep tweakable Leslie module. If yoy listen to a real Tonewheel organ then you’ll know what I mean.
My opinion of course.

What B3 ORGAN TONEWHEEL MODE setting do you have in Sound menu? Could be that you are looking for the Vintage 2 one, have you tried it?

5 - B3 ORGAN TONEWHEEL MODE
Sets the level of tonewheel crosstalk and cable leakage artifacts of the B3 organ model.
Range: Clean, Vintage 1 (default), Vintage 2

He's pedantically correct, it's not an electromechanical tone wheel (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tonewheel), it's a digital recreation of one. Same with the pianos, the samples, etc.

Look, I'd be the first to agree that the NS4C organ section doesn't sound/play 100% like the original Hammond models -- but it's way more than close enough as part of an instrument that also does pianos, synths, orchestrals, etc.

I don't expect an upgrade to the new(er) organ model because (a) they've never done that before, and (b) their current offering appears to be selling pretty well where others aren't. Besides, there's a long list of outstanding checklist items to fix on the current firmware that many would deem more important :)
