Another update for Windows users: thanks to more help from @guyd789, a new version (1.9) of ns4decode was just posted today that eliminates the need to install "xxd" utility on Windows.

The updated instructions include a link to a YouTube video that explains how to set up a drag-and-drop method for running ns4decode on Windows.

The new version (1.10) of ns4decode posted today increases the number of decoded piano sample names from less than 40 to more than 290. Thanks to Christian (@florence) for all the time spent downloading samples to get their IDs, and thanks to Andreas (@gaaal) for giving me the magic formula to convert them!

Version 1.10 also adds a few new synth parameters: KB sync, KB hold on/off, and KB hold exclude.

Just for your information: ns4decode runs fine under Linux Mint 21.3. The dependencies are normally pre-installed. Should work for other Linux flavors as well. Thank you for your efforts.

And maybe I should mention that the setup and usage instructions for both MacOS and Windows are now documented in a more thoughtfully-formatted User Manual (a pdf file provided as a separate download from https://ns4decode.netlify.app/), with several screen shots.
