I've posted requests in the Stage and Piano forums for Stage 4 and Piano 5 owners to test whether Nord has fixed NSM to allow conversion of user-created NSMP files (NSMP2 format using Nord Sample Editor 4) to NSMP4 format.

Well, I'm not able to check out v9 yet. I get the message 'virus found' when downloading.
Anyone else experiencing the same problem?
I have the same problem, unfortunately

I would appreciate it if current owners of NS4s and Piano 5s would test NSM v9.0 and report if NSMP conversion has been fixed for samples created in NSMP2 format.
No, it still doesn't work with NSM9 and NS4 or MP5.

NO problems here at two Win11 PCs, just installed at one of them today.

Turning off Windows security lets you download v9 without the virus notice. Maybe not recommandable in general, but I thought the risk was minimal in this case.

NSM v9 is unfortunately still not able to be used without an instrument being connected, I continue to hope that this feature will be added at some time to load bundles into NSM and arrange samples / programs without the need to be connected to a Nord.
The thing is, you are only rearranging sounds that are ON your nord keyboard. Offline mode would mean that a complete backup has to be kept and handled like your hardware ON THE PC. And then all changes have to be synced when connecting your hardware nord.
Then you would need to confirm it, or if you happen to have multiple stage 4’s they would need an ID to not accidentally overwrite stuff if it’s not an exact duplicate.
I think this usecase is a lot less likely than eg using an iPad with the hardware nord. This, in contrast, would still be a dream.
I kinda think the new UI looks more “iPad-friendly”, but who knows…

Exactly, that’s what I wish to be implemented in a future release.
An iPad version would of course be great too

Apparently you can download samples to the computer cache without the keyboard and then speed up uploads: backup, bundle
A even better possibility for the future, if the NSM could download the Nord samples from the servers and not the keyboard. That’ll be great!!

I tried it with NSM v9 but it did not do anything without a Nord being connected - how did you manage to download samples without a connection to a Nord?
