..... what we are missing is the v1 (.nsmp) i.e. the "Nord Sample Library Archive" section
....
You're right, I missed that, I will report it and see what they will reply.

Yeah, the Nord Sample Library Archive v1 had some really nice sounds. I really hope they haven't removed them from their servers completely.

Also praying they did not bar access to the sample library archive. would be awkward if those who backed them up had access but no one else did ...
Home to some of my favorite samples.
but i did notice they added the fairlight CMI to the website a day or two late. This gives me hope that perhaps they just havent added it yet....

I wouldn't have my hopes high on the "Sample Archive".. It was removed from the old site a many years ago (yes, you could reach them if you had saved the url). Probably removed for a reason - the quality was so-so by today's Nord standards. Maybe also for legal reasons (using names like Oberheim, Prophet, Juno etc can be a problem). Really like the new web though, nice and easy-to-navigate and well-thought-out ux design

I think I had downloaded many if not all of the old sample library archive. Please PM me if you are looking for some specific samples which are no longer available for download, and I will have a look if I have them available

I said some time ago that anyone who has the cloud space should download as much as they can from Nord. This stuff isn't going to stay up forever. I'm specifically referring to the Piano library, which has undergone consistent change and older versions are becoming less accessible. Users have found flaws or unpleasantries with some of the newer versions.
It's too easy to just delete a Piano off your Nord to make room for another one, assuming that if you want the old one back (which we all know happens a lot), you can just go get it from the Nord site. As the Sample Archive situation attests - this is not a failsafe option.
SO...if you like a given sample, get it in your cloud.

I asked Nord to have a look into the harpsichord sounds. Since 2022, I can't find the French Harpsichord 1A..1C, 1E..1F any more - only 1D is updated to v.6.1; same for Italian Harpsichord 1A and 1C - only 1B and 1D have been updated. We'll see.

Hi, are you looking for all French Harpsichords in general, or for updates to v6.1?
