The Stage 2 compact goes from F-F. This is not a problem, really, but when playing Rhodes parts, it’s nice to have the low E that a real Rhodes 73 has.

That's not a reason to avoid the Stage2 or EX,it really is STILL a great keyboard!
Those with newer models can boast it's new features but many of us are happy with the older models.
And some older models have features I prefer,still like the B3 on the Electro2 as good or better than the newer models!
Through a real Leslie it still has THE sound!Always favored the A100,passed on at least a dozen B3's.This '68 B3 needs a TOTAL rebuild!
Meanwhile the A100's are like new.....because they were ignored back in the day!

Play key bass for fifty five years and get back to me......low E is is the lowest open key on a Fender Precision. F? You are KIDDING me?
Those clowns at Nord FINALLY figured out what we like........Compact now outsells all models.
