Checking the whole library, I noticed that some of the old uproght samples are being updated too.
No XL versions (yet?), but the Black, Romantic and Honkytonk are now available in V6.

I switched back to v5 versions of most of them. Some got better, some didn't. Electro 5d,,,

As far as I remember, the White Grand V6 was already included in the factory sample selection of the Piano 5.

Would someone please make a list which pianos are updated? That would be nice! Thank you!

White Grand was born as v6, but if I remember well it was 6.2 on NP5 factory backup (I may be wrong anyway, can't check now)

That sounds complicated. As the process of updating piano samples started months ago, I wouldn't know which ones to include in the list and which not. I'd recommend to compare your own piano list (in NSM) to the one I'm updating every now and then: general-nord-forum-f29/models-of-piano- ... et#p128240

Strange thing from a company. To have a big news (if it's true the grand2 is really a new voice) and not to publish it in the main page.

It's not an entirely new voice, it must be from the same basic samples,same piano, re-mastered as it were.
The XL version is new though (there only was an L), and even the L is significantly improved.

Yes they probably just used the same original recordings, resampling them in the V6 format which provides higher fidelity (and so takes up significantly more memory, even for samples of the "old" S, M and L sizes)

I correct myself, I checked on my personal local copy of NPL and White Grand 6.3 was already available in March (probably as part of NP5 backup) and I also found a Studio Grand 2 Med (probably from the same backup), but at least now they have included all sizes and officially updated the Nord Piano Library pages.
