If Nord had also offered this in black and walnut I'd wager they'd have sold a lot more of them.
Couldn't agree more Gambold. I'd have loved to have an option to buy Nord in black, but I guess it works well for them as marketing tool to balance the sales with only that decission. I hear reports that people could also touch some of the buttons unintentionally while playing the Nord Grand. It hasn't happened to me but I've only played it for few hours to be in a position to confirm that or not. Indeed, some good thoughts here for Nord PM team to take in for the second iteration of the Nord Grand.
Hi - there is a lock button on the panel. It’s actually somewhat easy with the controls where they are to hit something while playing so that lock button is helpful - provided you don’t need to swap some settings while playing something.

Looks like a Nord Piano 5 with Kawai keybs ?!

It’s the sound engine of the Piano 5 in a Nord Grand Body, with an (improved?) Kawai action and basically the Stage 4 effect section and functionality. Nice!

Yep, all of that plus the NS4 UI with all engines accessible from a single panel with LED sliders for controlling volume.

And a global reverb. Which might be post-fade for the layers? Just to annoy NS4 users! Although I often think the way it is done on the NS4 makes sense, especially if they could have it switch to post layer fader by activating the 'global' button on the NS4 reverb section.

Basically, we find everything new that we had on the Nord Piano 5 but with additional things that come directly from the flagship Nord Stage 4:
- a complete effects section per layer
- an independent volume fader per layer
- the compressors dedicated to the piano section (which we saw appear on revision B of the Nord Piano 5)
- new effects (SPIN, FLAM, SPRING, etc...)
- amps and compression section now independent

Great update compared to the first Nord Grand of the name (which still really needed it). We are looking at a machine that is even more complete than the excellent Nord Piano 5 with a Kawai touch. To see for the price.

In any case, this gives us clues as to what the future Nord Electro 7 will be.

Good observation. I think many of these features will carry to the NE7, though they won't encroach too much on the Stage...likely still a single piano/organ and MAYBE they will add a second sample layer, given the Electro has been more of a sample player than a synth.
