Nord Stage 4 - Glide Rate Range (Bug?)

Have you powered down the Stage 4... and powered back up?
When I first updated to firmware 1.14, I thought the issue was fixed.
Checked it right before going to a gig... and the issue re-surfaced.
As mentioned before, I have to stay at firmware 1.06... or the issue returns.

Yes, I’ve checked it for the first time yesterday and checked it today again (and of course the Stage 4 was turned off and completely unplugged over night).
That’s really a strange behavior what you’re describing.

I wonder if somehow this patch got corrupted/changed during one of the firmware updates? Didn't one of these updates change the patch format or something? That would explain why it cannot be reproduced perhaps...
If you've made it from scratch again after updating then that's not it...

I also assume that this specific program is somehow defective (e.g. containing corrupt data). Since now my test program works for several days flawlessly.
You could try to reprogram it from scratch and check if this works better.

OK... so I backed up the NS4... and reloaded firmware v1.14.
All worked properly for ~48 hours. This is what happened when I first loaded firmware 1.14.
Then, this evening I was playing some piano on the NS4... and decided to switch patches to the Intro for "Turn Me Loose".
Same broken Portamento in Synth Engine 1. Engines 2 and 3 glide up as expected. Engine 1 goes straight to pitch (no glide).
Back to firmware 1.06.

Have you tried remaking the program from scratch? I'm unclear on this point. So far we have one person with the issue and another who does not so as someone who is buying an NS4C soon I'm trying to figure out what the root of the problem might be. If no one else is able to replicate it I am very confused.

Is this the only sound/program where the glide doesn’t work?

I have my NS4C for several weeks now, and I noticed not a single issue with this function. And the patch I’ve programmed according to your description works fine until today, with all kind of variations and changes.
So either your Stage has a general malfunction (or just the 88 version? hard to believe) or this specific patch is "broken". I would reinstall V1.14 and build the program again. Then we certainly will see.

I'll reinstall firmware 1.14 and rebuild the patch from scratch (in a different location).
In the past, I did redo the sound (same slot)... and it was broken when I came back to it.

I do not think it's a hardware issue... as there's zero problem with firmware 1.06.
Portamento works exactly as it should.

Here's a video showing the issue.
With firmware 1.14, Portamento is broken across a couple different patches (as demonstrated).
What's odd is that the Portamento issue is intermittent (works fine some times... and broken others).
Flashed back to firmware 1.06... and Portamento is back to proper function.
I did reprogram the patch from scratch (different location and without any Morph assignments). It thus far hadn't displayed the malfunction.
I have a gig tomorrow... so I had to flash back to firmware 1.06. Can't take any chances...

Thanks for the video demonstration. This issue is really strange and it's even more strange that others weren't able to reproduce it so far (these kind of errors are the worst).
Would it be possible that you share your specific program here so that others NS4 users could load it 1:1 into their instruments and check? I would be happy to be helpful in any way.
