Re: Can I use .nsmp files for Nord Stage 4?

I saw this post referenced on Facebook, so thought it should be updated:
Nord Sound Manager 9.02 will convert Nord NSMP and NSMP3 samples to NSMP4 format, and will convert "user-created" NSMP3 and early NSMP samples as well. However, a bug in NSM prevents conversion of later "user-created" NSMP samples that have been saved in NSMP2 format (created by Nord Sample Editor 4 for example). To test this, I created an NSMP file with NSE4 (Nord saves it in NSMP2 format), and then tried to load it in my Stage 4.
Almost all of the NSMP samples that I've posted have been in NSMP2 format, and currently won't load on the Stage 4 or Piano 5. Earlier versions of Nord Sound Manager (v6.72 and v7.70) converted my files fine for the Piano 5, however Nord broke the conversion when it updated NSM for the Stage 4.
