I bought this and first off thanks! Second, I'm comparing what I see here to a MIDI dictionary that was set up for a Morningstar MC6 Pro and a Stage 3. Did they remove options such as enabling the piano, organ and synth (toggle on/off)? Also, some CCs are baffling me such as Organ Percussion and I can't seem to toggle it on/off nor make it move with cc 25 nor get the Piano variation to change with CC 38

The MIDI documentation of Nord instruments is not that bad, but it's not as good as it could be, either. A frequent recommendation may apply to your issue as well: Set up a MIDI connection to your computer, run a MIDI sniffer/monitor app and move the knobs and buttons you want to learn about. That way, it should be possible to easily learn the values corresponding to the existing states.

Hopefully, all of these options are implemented the same way on the send and the receive side.

You should check the the manual, the appendix with the midi controller list. The two parameters you try to change with a single controller value (25 and 38) use NRPN consisting of a package of four CCs. Your midi controller must be capable of sending NRPN to the NS4.

I bought the app today. Looks like it will be handy and useful, thanks. — I see rotary cc’s are entered on previous NS models but not 4 yet. Next update could have those?

Thanks for the tip and having checked the manual, I have the MSB and LSB so got both functions above working. Now might you know some of the oddities such as Synth Mode being 3:0 which I can send properly with NRPN BUT it just toggles between 2 synths on the A slot. Curious if there is detail somewhere as to how this or a few others that don't seem obvious like sending evenlope, filter, amp etc.

Hi, I bought a Nord Stage 4 and I'm trying to set the "reverb enable" command on Ableton, and I saw in the Nord's manual that it's the NRPN command (2:104). Does anyone know how can i set it? (sorry for my bad English)
