Sorry I do not fully understand. "Sample not found" seems to indicate an error, shouldn't that be "Sample not set" ?

Having only the program allows less flexibility, here name should be 'Sample hash code unknown'. Something similar to the Nord Sound Manager when you load a program with missing samples. NSM shows in this case 'Sample Not Found', I tried the same approach.

Thank you for taking the time to step through the examples with screenshots. I noticed as you noted that the top Preset name is not a reliable source all the time as one can start out with a Synth or Sample preset and end up with synth parameters that are drastically different. As the Preset name will contain the name of a "user-created" sample if it's selected as a Sample preset and not changed to another with OSC1, maybe nothing is needed if folks understand that point.

The NS2 and NS3 Program Viewer is an excellent tool; I discovered much more about what is stored with programs by looking through the CSV output. Creating that was a LOT of work :thanks:
